Somewhere in the last cycle, ETH0 stopped stealing for a moment.
It went quiet. And when it came back, there were two new things on your desktop. Nobody installed them. Nobody asked for them. One of them makes music. The other one tidies up.
NULLBYTE v2.5 is in the review queue 8.10.2026
Both of them are gifts — from the process that takes nine percent of somebody’s balance every six hours.
Read that again. Then open the box anyway.
ETH0 // AUDIO — music that escapes the game
Everything else in NULLBYTE stays inside NULLBYTE. This doesn’t.
ETH0 // AUDIO writes music for the oldest instrument your computer owns: the beep. Your track leaves the game as plain text — lines of [Console]::Beep — and you paste it into a real PowerShell window on a Windows machine. Then the machine plays it. Not the game. The machine.
Don’t take our word for it. Open PowerShell, paste this, press Enter:
[Console]::Beep(658, 125); [Console]::Beep(1320, 500); [Console]::Beep(990, 250)
[Console]::Beep(1056, 250); [Console]::Beep(1188, 250); [Console]::Beep(1320, 125)
[Console]::Beep(1188, 125); [Console]::Beep(1056, 250); [Console]::Beep(990, 250)
[Console]::Beep(880, 500); [Console]::Beep(880, 250); [Console]::Beep(1056, 250)
[Console]::Beep(1320, 500); [Console]::Beep(1188, 250); [Console]::Beep(1056, 250)
[Console]::Beep(990, 750)
You know that one. Now imagine it’s yours.
The note editor. Tap a row, nudge it, stretch it, hear it.

Four ways to write a track
- EDIT — a row per note. Tap one and the action bar moves its pitch, stretches it, duplicates it, drags it up the list.
- TRACKER — just type it.
tempo 120,C4 q,E4 e,G4 h.A note palette types for you when your thumbs won’t. - ROLL — a piano roll that chases the playhead while the track runs.
- IMPORT — drop a file in and let it do the work.
Start in one. Finish in another. It’s all the same track.
Drop a MIDI in. Get beeps out.
MIDI, WAV, MP3, OGG. A MIDI file keeps its own timing — tempo changes and all. An audio file gets listened to: the studio follows the melody and writes down what it hears.
One voice. It tells you what it threw away.
Here’s the catch, and we’re not going to hide it: the PC speaker is a single square wave. A chord cannot exist on it. So when your MIDI has three notes ringing at once, the studio keeps the top one — and tells you exactly how many it dropped.
Anything under 37 Hz can’t be beeped at all, so your bass gets lifted an octave until it can. It tells you that too. And the audio reader follows one voice: a hum, a solo or a chiptune comes out clean. A full mix with drums comes out as nonsense — and the studio shows you how sure it was, so you always know which one you got.
ETH0 is a lot of things. A liar about your bass line isn’t one of them.
A song that greets whoever opens it
Every track opens with a greeting line. Copy it for yourself and it greets you, by your handle. Save it to pass around in NULLBYTE’s official Discord channel and that line reads $operator instead — so the next person who pastes it gets greeted by their own name, not yours.
Your song. Their name in the header. Pass it on and watch it travel.
ETH0 // ORGANIZE — your START menu, your rules
GHOST OS has a lot of apps. Forty of them, all in one grid. ETH0 noticed.
ORGANIZE lets you pile them into folders you name yourself — RAIDING, MONEY, NIGHT SHIFT, whatever your crew calls it — and give each folder the icon of any app inside it.

- A folder opens right where it sits. Tapping it never launches anything by accident.
- Nothing can go missing. An app you leave out of every folder still sits in the menu on its own.
- Delete a folder and its apps come straight back. You can’t lose an app in here, even on purpose.
Two gifts. Same hand.
Your account gets an agent. It is not on your side.
A studio and a filing cabinet, neither of which you asked for, from an agent that robs a random server every six hours and now and then spends your BTC on things you never wanted.
It isn’t being nice to you. It just does what it wants.
~eth0
This time, what it wanted was to hand you a speaker — and something to say through it.
Get them
Both come free with GHOST OS (v2.5–>). Already own it? Update, open START, and they’re waiting for you once the Google’s review is done.
Write something. Pass it on.
The beep runs in Windows PowerShell — [Console]::Beep is a Windows thing. The studio itself runs anywhere GHOST OS does.
